Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, I grew up in a culture with deep and innate reverence for the aliveness of all beings and things. As a child I could often be found singing with the birds, crafting potions and communing with the flowers, trees and plants. 

Many years later, my own healing journey returned me to the remembrance of the interconnectedness of life and of the coherence of the plants, waters and living world. The plants and birth called me simultaneously, which led me to birth work, holistic healing and the essences. Birth taught me so much about the rhythm of Life, transformation and the lifelong practice of being the witness. The plants wove through these experiences teaching me about being in relationship and connection, as well as holding, supporting, moving through thresholds of transformation. While learning with the plants and studying herbalism, I continuously found myself drawn to essences, and the subtle yet profound shifts they midwived in my own life. 

I am deeply honored to offer one-on-one sessions and to craft essence formulas to support others during these threshold moments, as well as offering essences through my web store. My creative expression also comes through the form of ceramics, some of these alter adornments can also be found here. 

I belong to a lineage of rose devotees, midwives, hands on healers and water keepers. My essence and healing art sessions are also informed by my studies in biodynamic craniosacral therapy and aquatic bodywork. Following Water and Resonance ~

What are (Flower) Essences?

Flower essences are vibrational medicines, held in water, that tend to our subtle bodies to create energetic, emotional and spiritual shifts in our Lives.

Everything is vibrating and has a vibration (the atoms are vibrating). Each flower has their own vibrational tone. Essences call upon water to hold the memory of the vibrational resonance of the flower. Our bodies are largely comprised of water, and through dosing, the vibration expands to the waters of our bodies. Over time, essences bring our inner waters into resonance with them. Essences can be crafted of flowers, plants, trees, environments, stones, stars, planets, beings… etc etc. Everything has a vibration. 

Crafting essences is a ceremonial and creative ritualistic practice. They are co-created in collaboration with the flower/plant/environment/stone and the wider Field. Crafting essences is a practice in deep listening and attunement; they are crafted through invitation, courtship and in relationship.
